When we gathered the stats on the MRs it turned out that there were two biggest contributors to the LTFC. First is time to get all the approvals. Second is time to deploy. The team was not allowed to merge into master branch until all the approvals from the external platform team was received. This took a lot of time. Will not go into a lot of details, but the platform team acknowledged the problem and promptly introduced several policies that improved the situation. For the deployment we also agreed that we should go into the direction of full automation. We agreed on what checks we need to implement for safety. This is smth that we are going to enable shortly.
